Leonard W. Besinger & Associates is owned by Leonard W. Besinger, Jr,. a 56 year veteran in Chicagoland homebuilding and developing.  He represents the third generation in a family that has provided homes for families in Illinois and Florida since 1906.  Over 100 years in the building business brings more than experience to the construction of your new home.  It brings tradition, one of dedication to excellence, and attention to both the product and the customer.
The Communities of Deerpass began in 1989 as a 250 acre total community development.  Our estate community is a well-planned design of fine homes on over one-third acre sites.  Jogging paths run adjacent to the winding, tree-lined streets plus, round-a-bouts and cul-de-sacs which all adds to a lovely neighborhood setting.  In fact, Deerpass Estates is a return to neighborhood living and that’s what Marengo is all about.

As President of the Leonard W. Besinger & Associates, Leonard brings over 50 years of experience in the building industry. A MIT graduate in architecture, he has built and designed thousands of homes in the Chicagoland area.

After receiving her degree from Brigham Young University, Kathy has spent eighteen years with the Leonard W. Besinger & Associated Company

Gordy Dunnett
Land Operations

 

Gordie has a broad knowledge of the business of molding the land into the lots we build the houses on, including everything from raw earthmoving to installation of sewer & water infrastructure & the streets & curbs & gutters, as well as, digging foundations & grading the lots. He has been with Leonard W. Besinger & Associates over 12 years and both operates & oversees the equipment we own to get the job done.
